Who are we looking for?
The Operations Manager is responsible for identifying issues affecting operational performance, and developing solutions with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure the successful operations of our CEE team based mostly in Hungary.
The Operations Manager oversees operational areas as well as major project delivery, and guides business owners in ensuring profitability and high customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Operations Manager manages escalations as needed. In essence, the Operational Manager plays a key role in optimising processes and maintaining service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a single point of contact for Sofigate CEE’s operations.
- Build strong relationships with areas related to operations such as delivery teams, finance, recruitment and HR, resource management, and the management team.
- Drive improvement and manage changes related to all of these areas together with proactive and reactive problem solving.
- Work with our finance and operations teams on financial management, contract management, work hour and absence approvals, employee benefits management, bonus calculations, audit support, etc.
What will make you successful in this role:
- Typically, a minimum of 4 years of related experience in international environments especially within the technology sector focussing on operations management.
- Knowledge of Hungarian financial and contract regulations.
- Strong experience in project management and steering group work
- Holistic view of our business and operations but also the ideas and drive to take them forward.
- An outgoing, positive, and service-minded personality with high energy who desires to make a difference and is geared towards continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high assertiveness and emotional intelligence.
- Being passionate about delivering exceptional service quality.
