Project Manager – Defense

We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager – Defense who can combine leadership, structured delivery, and technology-driven transformation to create measurable value in complex and security-sensitive environments.

Your role

As a Project Manager – Defense, you’ll lead transformation and technology initiatives within the defense and public sector domains. You will help organisations navigate digital change in environments where reliability, coordination, and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

You’ll work closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to drive projects from planning to execution while balancing operational requirements, security considerations, and business objectives.

What you'll do

• Lead digital transformation and technology projects within defense, public sector, and security-sensitive environments

• Translate business objectives into structured project plans, ensuring successful execution and follow-up

• Coordinate stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams across complex delivery environments

• Drive communication, collaboration, and alignment between business and technical stakeholders

• Identify risks, remove blockers, and support teams in maintaining delivery momentum and operational stability

• Operate within regulated and security-sensitive settings using modern delivery methodologies and structured governance

• Contribute to long-term customer relationships by delivering reliable and business-critical outcomes

• Stay curious about emerging technologies, digital transformation trends, and evolving industry requirements

What you bring

• 3 - 5 years of experience in project management, business development, or digital transformation

• Experience leading or coordinating projects within defense, security, public sector, or other regulated industries

• A strong understanding of stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration in complex organisations

• Confidence in project planning, governance, and structured delivery methodologies

• The ability to balance operational requirements, security considerations, and business objectives

• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with strong self-leadership skills

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills — you know how to simplify complexity and align stakeholders effectively

• Experience working in agile and other modern delivery frameworks is considered valuable

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, business, engineering, or equivalent

• Full working proficiency in Swedish and English
