We are looking for an experienced Senior IAM Architect & Consultant to strengthen our growing Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business, technology, security, and AI. You will help our customers design, implement, manage, and continuously develop modern IAM solutions while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to both customers and colleagues.

You will work directly with customers and collaborate with security, cloud, workplace and application experts. Your work can range from defining an IAM roadmap and leading a customer workshop to configuring identity solutions, improving lifecycle automation or finding practical ways to use AI in IAM.

Our IAM services include Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, automated identity lifecycle management, business application access management, and identity governance capabilities.

What you will do

• Lead customer IAM discussions, assessments and workshops, turning business and security needs into practical architectures and roadmaps.

• Design, implement and develop modern IAM solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, hybrid identity and other leading IAM technologies.

• Improve Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes, identity provisioning, application access, role models and access governance.

• Guide customers on IAM strategy, governance, security and compliance, taking ownership of solution quality and customer outcomes.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring, share IAM best practices and help develop Sofigate's IAM capabilities.

• Explore and implement practical uses of automation and AI in identity lifecycle management, access governance and secure AI-enabled services.

What success looks like

You become a trusted IAM advisor to our customers who can move comfortably from business and security discussions to architecture and hands-on implementation. You help customers build secure, scalable IAM environments that simplify identity lifecycle management, strengthen access governance and create a solid identity foundation for cloud and AI-enabled services.

What we're looking for

Requirements

• Strong IAM expertise, including architecture, identity lifecycle management, access governance and Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes.

• Strong Microsoft Entra ID expertise with hands-on implementation and configuration experience, together with working knowledge of Active Directory and hybrid identity.

• Experience with one or more IAM, IGA, or PAM solutions and integrating identity services with business applications.

• Senior customer-facing consulting skills and the ability to turn business and security requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate fluently and effectively with IT and business stakeholders in Finnish and English.

Considered an advantage

• Experience with Microsoft Security technologies and identity integrations with HR systems.

• Experience with automation, workflows or identity provisioning technologies.

• Understanding of AI governance, AI security or secure access for AI-enabled business applications.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled workplace technologies.

• Experience mentoring specialists, leading technical teams or developing an IAM professional community.

• Working knowledge of ServiceNow in service management, workflow automation and IAM practices.
